Cardinal Martini has passed away. May he rest in peace.

We are left with something of a conundrum as this liberal cardinal has given us something of a surprise.

Father Z’s post has reminded me:

De mortuis nihil nisi bonum [(Say) nothing but good about the dead.]

Indeed.
