Christophobic atheists believe that churches (not the liberal ones, but the conservative ones) should be taxed if they practice freedom of speech.

Christian News Network:

An atheist activist group has filed a federal lawsuit against the IRS for failing to investigate complaints lodged against a number of churches and religious organizations that have been accused of being involved in “electioneering” this past election season.

This has nothing to do with anything, in my opinion, but suppressing traditional churches. What say you? Should the Church (or anyone) be punished with taxation for simply expressing a political view? It occurs to me that this has the same effect as a poll tax, except that it is not indirect. It is direct bigotry against traditional Christianity. Where are their lawsuits against mosques? Or Democrat pastors like Reverend Jesse Jackson?
