Salt and Light TV brings us the homily of Pope Francis at his inaugural Mass with English translation, embedded below. Today is the Solemnity of St. Joseph, husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary. (Today’s Readings at USCCB.) Pope Francis spoke on the “protector” status of St. Joseph and the duty of each of us to be protectors of all creation, but particularly those who are most vulnerable. Prior to Mass, he gave us a personal example in stopping the popemobile to bless a disabled man.
